Why FPI
Built by two senior researchers who moved from academia into industry — with PhDs, over a decade of teaching and mentoring students through career decisions, and years of practitioner research on how people make choices under uncertainty. The Career Design Loop is the methodology that came out of that work.

Why we built this
Future Proof Initiative was created after years of working with students, researchers, educators, and professionals navigating career uncertainty in a rapidly changing world of work.
The same pattern kept showing up. Traditional career advice was built for a more linear era — one where careers were predictable and a single choice could carry you for decades. Today's world is shaped by AI, emerging industries, portfolio careers, and constant change. The pressure to have it figured out only grows as the world becomes less certain.
So we built a different approach. Rather than choose one path and hope it works out, we help people design careers through exploration, experimentation, and evidence — combining research-led thinking with practical tools for the age of AI.
